Jamshedpur, April 8: Jamshedpur FC is poised to kick off their Kalinga Super Cup 2025 campaign with a Round of 16 clash against Hyderabad FC on Thursday, April 24, at 8:00 PM. The match will take place at the Kalinga Stadium in Bhubaneswar, Odisha.
The tournament, scheduled from April 20 to May 3, 2025, features a single-elimination knockout format with 16 participating clubs—13 from the Indian Super League (ISL) and three from the I-League. The ISL teams have been seeded based on their final league standings from the 2024-25 season.
Jamshedpur FC, seeded fifth, will aim to leverage their strong performance from the ISL season as they face twelfth-seeded Hyderabad FC. A victory would advance them to the quarter-finals on Saturday, April 27, where they would meet the winner of the NorthEast United FC vs. Mohammedan Sporting Club match.
All matches are set to be held at the Kalinga Stadium. The tournament champion will earn a spot in the 2025-26 AFC Champions League Two Preliminary Round.
