Jamshedpur FC are delighted to announce the signing of Michael Soosairaj from Chennai City FC. The 23-year-old midfielder has been in good form in the recently concluded I-League, scoring three goals and earning three assists.

“I always wanted to play in the Indian Super League (ISL) and when Jamshedpur FC came with an offer, I could not refuse. JFC has had a fantastic debut season in the ISL and I am excited to be a part of the project and delighted to get involved in such a professional setup. I can’t wait to meet the rest of the side and play at The Furnace,” Soosairaj stated after signing for Jamshedpur FC.

The Indian midfielder has represented Chennai City FC since they were playing in the Chennai Super Division. The Chennai City FC captain has also played for Tamil Nadu in two Santosh Trophy seasons.

Mukul Choudhari, CEO, Jamshedpur FC, also expressed his happiness after his club reached an agreement with Chennai City FC.

“We are delighted to welcome Soosairaj to the club. He is a young and talented player who strengthens the squad and will provide excellent competition for places in the next season. We have been tracking him for some time and there have been ongoing talks between the clubs. He has been a standout performer for CCFC this season and we expect him to continue the good work with us,” he added.
