In lieu of the Asian Football Confederation (AFC) Grassroots Day being celebrated across Asia, Jamshedpur FC will be conducting a football festival for its Grassroots Football School students on 19th May 2019, Sunday, at Armoury Ground, Bistupur.

The clubs are training 672 kids three times a week amongst the eight football schools across the city in association with various schools, namely:

1. Mount Litera Zee School, Mango
2. Kerala Samajam Model School, Golmuri
3. RVS Academy, Dimna Road
4. DBMS Kadma High School
5. Loyola School, CH Area
6. Carmel Junior College, Sonari
7. Hill Top School, Telco
8. DAV Public School, Bistupur

Over 250 kids have confirmed participation in the festival which will be conducted under the guidance of Mr. Kundan Chandra, Head of Grassroots & Youth Development, Jamshedpur FC.
