Jamshedpur FC to conduct trials for its Sub-Junior team to play in AIFF Sub-Junior League

Jamshedpur FC will be conducting trials for its Sub-Junior team to participate in the 2019-20 All India Football Federation (AIFF) Sub-Junior League. The team will be coached by Adrian Dias who is an AFC B License coach and has worked with Jamshedpur FC’s senior team for over two seasons and previously with Mumbai City FC.

The players selected will be undergoing top quality football training under the coaches throughout the year and would seek to participate in other youth tournaments as well.

Head Coach Adrian Dias said, “Our aim is to groom top players so they can compete and progress along the youth ladder of Jamshedpur FC into the first team. This is a great chance for the boys to work with us and be exposed to quality competition across the country and prove their mettle. They will have access to the top infrastructure and expertise and need to work hard to achieve the same.”

The trials will be conducted under the supervision Adrian Dias and other Jamshedpur FC youth coaches.

The team will compete against top teams in the eastern region of India in the first phase of the tournament. The teams that qualify from the first phase, will move on to the next stage to play at the national-level in the India Championship where they will be pit against the best teams across the country.

The details for the trials are as follows:

Venue – Tata Football Academy

Date – 14th and 15th August 2019 (must be present on both days)

Time – 9 am reporting

Eligibility – Boys born on or after 1st January 2007 and on or before 31st December 2008

Instructions –

  1. All boys coming for the trials must carry their full kit (jersey, shorts, stockings, football shoes, shin guards)
  2. If the player is a goalkeeper, he must bring a pair of goalkeeping
  3. Must carry water in a non-plastic bottle and snacks in a non-plastic
  4. Must carry original Passport, Aadhar card and Birth Certificate (any two)
