Jamshedpur, November 14: The Jamshedpur Super League, the grassroots league of Jamshedpur FC, will conclude with a grand award ceremony at the Tata Football Academy (TFA) on Children's Day at TFA. The ceremony will celebrate the winners across various age categories, along with champions from the Coaches’ League, Fathers’ League, and Mothers’ League.
Adding more colour to the occasion, the ceremony will be held on Children’s Day, making it a joyful celebration dedicated to the young footballers who have showcased their talent and passion throughout the league.
The league, which kicked off on October 18, 2024, was conducted across three venues — Archery Ground, Tinplate Sports Complex, and the JRD Tata Sports Complex Football Turf. It featured five age categories: Under-5, Under-7, Under-9, Under-11, and Under-13, offering young footballers a vibrant platform to display their skills and love for the game.
A total of 70 teams and 628 players participated in this edition, including 33 teams from grassroots schools and 37 from different academies and clubs. The matches saw exciting competition, with 68 games played in the U-5 category, 153 in U-7, 45 in U-9, 91 in U-11, and 120 in U-13.
The award ceremony will recognise not only the winning teams but also the efforts of coaches, parents, and organisers who have contributed to nurturing football culture at the grassroots level. The Jamshedpur Super League continues to strengthen Jamshedpur FC’s vision of building the next generation of footballers through structured, community-driven development.
