Cuttack, February 9: Jamshedpur FC U-17 secured a hard-fought 2-0 victory over Odisha FC in their U-17 Elite League encounter at Cuttack on Friday. The win takes Jamshedpur FC to second place in the Group K standings with 18 points from seven matches, trailing leaders AIFF Academy, who have played one game more and sit atop the table with 19 points.

Bikash and Aman were the heroes for Jamshedpur, scoring in first-half stoppage time (45+1’) and the 68th minute, respectively, to seal the victory. Jamshedpur FC dominated possession and created multiple chances, eventually breaking the deadlock just before halftime through Bikash’s composed finish. In the second half, Aman doubled the lead with a well-placed strike, ensuring a comfortable finish for the visitors.

Jamshedpur FC will now face a crucial test as they take on table-toppers AIFF Academy on February 12 at Bhubaneswar.
