Jamshedpur FC is set to launch its football school for the first time on the Artificial Turf, JRD Tata Sports Complex, marking a significant milestone in the development of young footballers in the city. The school will cater to children in the age groups of U5, U7, U9, U11, and U13, providing them with professional training and guidance to shape their skills and become future stars of Indian football.
For the first time ever, the JRD Tata Sports Complex's Artificial Turf will be utilized for football training, offering a state-of-the-art facility for young enthusiasts to hone their craft. The football school's admission process is now open, and interested parents can collect admission forms from Room No. 1, Accounts Section, JRD Tata Sports Complex, starting tomorrow.
CEO of Jamshedpur FC Mr. Mukul Choudhari said, 'We're happy to start our football school for young U13 footballers at JRD Tata Sports Complex, offering a safe and supportive space for kids to train and develop their skills. Our aim is to identify and nurture talent from a young age, equipping them with the skills and expertise necessary to shape them as professional footballers.”
The young footballers will be trained by certified coaches from Jamshedpur FC, who will provide personalized attention and guidance to help them develop their skills. With a limited batch size of 20 students, the football school aims to create a focused and nurturing environment that fosters growth and improvement.
The training sessions will be conducted three times a week, with separate batches for each age group. The schedule is as follows:
- Monday, Wednesday, Friday:
- U5: 3:30 PM - 4:30 PM
- U7: 4:30 PM - 5:30 PM
- U9: 5:30 PM - 6:30 PM
- Tuesday, Thursday, Saturday:
- U11: 3:30 PM - 4:30 PM
- U13: 4:30 PM - 5:30 PM
