Jamshedpur FC vs Odisha FC Kick-Off Rescheduled to 7:30 PM as Title Race Goes Down to the Wire

Jamshedpur, May 18: Jamshedpur FC have announced that their final league fixture against Odisha FC on May 21 at the JRD Tata Sports Complex will now kick off at 7:30 PM.

The match was originally expected to be played at 5.00 PM, but has been rescheduled to align with other decisive fixtures as the race for the Indian Super League title heads into a dramatic final day.

The change comes after the Kolkata derby between East Bengal FC and Mohun Bagan Super Giant ended in a draw, keeping Jamshedpur FC’s title hopes very much alive.

The Men of Steel currently sit third in the standings with 21 points from 12 matches and can finish the season on 24 points if they defeat Odisha FC.

For Jamshedpur FC to lift the league trophy, several results will need to go in their favour. Both Mohun Bagan Super Giant and East Bengal FC must drop points in their final matches. One possible route to the title would see Mohun Bagan lose their final fixture, while East Bengal are held to a draw or suffer defeat. In addition, the match between Punjab FC and Mumbai City FC must end in a draw to ensure neither side overtakes Jamshedpur FC.

With all crucial matches scheduled simultaneously, supporters can look forward to a thrilling evening as the Men of Steel make one final push for the championship.

Fans are encouraged to turn out in large numbers at the Furnace and back the team in what promises to be one of the most dramatic nights in the club’s history. Tickets for the match can be bought online through the app District by Zomato.
