Jamshedpur, December 7: The Jamshedpur Super League delivered another lively and inspiring matchday on Sunday, bringing together diverse communities across the city for a full slate of football action. The spotlight shone brightly on the Transgender League, one of the tournament’s most progressive and meaningful additions, which continued to embody inclusivity and celebration through sport.
Fans were treated to high-tempo games in the category, including Jamshedpur FT’s emphatic 7-0 win over Chaibasa FC and Kolhan Tiger FC’s confident 3-0 victory against Chakradharpur FC, while Jamshedpur Indranagar FC and Noumandi FC played out a hard-fought 0-0 draw.

The Fathers League, which enjoys strong participation every year, delivered high-scoring contests as Loyola Jaguars defeated Armoury Fathers 5-1 and Kishore Sangh Kadma earned a solid 3-0 win over Winter Soldiers. Carmel Super Giant went down 0-3 to Loyola Legend, while Barca Legends picked up a neat 2-0 win over Biswajit Manimela. Three U-10 Advanced Dads fixtures added further excitement, featuring a 1-1 draw between Whites and Greens.
In the Mothers League, which saw impressive community participation, Loyola Queens produced a commanding 4-0 win over Kishore Sangh Kadma, while Tinplate Angels, Tinplate Queens, and Loyola Rebona all secured 3-0 victories. Armoury Super Moms earned a fighting 2-1 result against Whites U-10 Moms.
Among the youth categories, the U-9 division stood out with a massive 9-0 win for Turf Red Warriors FC against JRD Juniours. Red Bulls beat LPS Loyola 5-0, while Tinplate Little Heroes won 3-0 against Tinplate Super Seven. Greek Warriors Loyola fell 0-3 to Mini Maverick, and there was one draw with JMA Little Camp holding Turf Green Warriors to 0-0.
The U-11 category witnessed some of the biggest scorelines of the day. Sniper FC registered a remarkable 10-1 win over JFC Furnace D, while JMFA Bright FC defeated JFC Furnace C 6-0. JFC Advanced teams also impressed, with the White team winning 9-3, the Green team winning 6-0, and the Blue team sealing a 3-0 result. JFC Furnace B edged Furnace A 2-1 in a tight derby, while Loyola 7 Star beat Tinplate Dribble Demons 4-2.
The Veteran League, with strong turnout from football lovers across the city, saw all matches decided by identical 3-0 scorelines. Appollo Sporting Kadma B, Unstoppable FC, Aurilo FC, Kishore Sangh Kadma, Bir Birsa, Park India, and Tinplate Heroes all recorded clean-sheet victories.
The youngest group, U-5, featured plenty of goals and excitement. Armoury FC delivered the biggest win of the day with a 15-1 scoreline over Goal Diggers. Biswasit Manimela FC beat Blue Tiger 12-2, while Loyola Messi won 12-1 against Loyola U-5 (B). Loyola Chetri also impressed with an 11-3 win. Wolfsburg, Amrit Sporting, and Loyola U-5 (D) all secured 3-0 or bigger victories.
In the U-7 category, Tinplate Super 7 edged JFC Red Rebel 7-4 in a thrilling match, while Blue Tiger powered to a 9-2 win over Armoury Nova Knight. Royal FC, Red Warrior, Biswasit Manimela FC, and FC Barca recorded strong 3-0 or 4-0 wins. The only draw of the group came from the tight 0-0 contest between Loyola Turf and Loyola Fire Balls.
Across all categories combined, a total of four matches ended in draws, reflecting a day filled with competitive balance and close contests.
The Jamshedpur Super League continues to serve as one of the biggest community football carnivals in the region, bringing together children, parents, veterans, and the transgender community on a single platform. The tournament aims to build a year-round football culture in the city, giving everyone — from first-time players to seasoned campaigners — a chance to compete, celebrate the sport, and feel part of a larger footballing movement.
With massive turnout, energetic crowds, and over a hundred goals scored today, the JSL was a huge hit, showcasing Jamshedpur’s passion for the beautiful game. The league will continue in the coming days across TFA and JRD Tata Sports Complex.
