The highly anticipated match kicked off with both teams launching aggressive attacks from the outset. However, it was Ranchi's Laxmikant Mahato who drew first blood in the 9th minute, capitalizing on a mishap by Jamshedpur's goalkeeper to give his team an early lead.
Undeterred, Jamshedpur intensified their assault, crafting multiple scoring opportunities. Their persistence paid off in the 25th minute when Vikash Nayak netted the equalizer, revitalizing Jamshedpur's hopes. Buoyed by this breakthrough, Jamshedpur continued to press, and Sadhu Marndi struck in the 40th minute, handing Jamshedpur a 2-1 advantage that stood until the halftime whistle.
The second half witnessed an intense battle, with both teams vying for supremacy. Despite numerous attempts, neither side could alter the scoreline, ensuring Jamshedpur's championship triumph.
Ranjit Mardi's outstanding performance earned him the Man of the Match accolade, while Jaipal Sirka's consistent brilliance throughout the tournament secured him the Player of the Tournament award.
Head Coach Jogesh Sharma and Team Manager Vivek Prasad played pivotal roles in Jamshedpur's success, masterminding the team's strategy and motivating the players to deliver a winning performance.
