Jamshedpur, January 16: In a heartwarming display of devotion, fans of Jamshedpur FC gathered at the Bhalubhasa Mukhi Samaj Basti to celebrate the Tusu Puja festival. The event took a special turn when Javi Hernandez, the captain of Jamshedpur FC, made an appearance, leaving the fans ecstatic.
The Tusu Puja Pandal, designed by Avinash Mukhi, was a marvel in itself. The idol of Tusu Maa was draped in a saree adorned with the Jamshedpur FC jersey colors, complete with sohrai art at the border and a stunning design of the Tata Steel factory. The saree also featured the JFC logo at its center, with the Goddess holding a placard that read "Jam Ke Khelo" and announced the team's next match against Mohun Bagan on January 17th. The entire setup seemed to convey the Goddess's blessings to the team for their upcoming match.
As Javi Hernandez arrived at the pandal, the excitement was palpable. The community welcomed him with traditional rituals, adorning him with a Jharkhand's traditional scarf and dhoti. The captain was greeted with nagada beats and firecrackers, setting the tone for a festive atmosphere.
Javi Hernandez offered his worship to the Goddess, garlanding the idol and performing the arti ceremony. The fans, who had gathered in large numbers, couldn't contain their excitement, requesting selfies and autographs from their beloved captain. Hernandez also indulged in the traditional Jharkhand's traditional Jaggery Peetha, embracing the local culture.
