Jamshedpur FC returns to the Furnace for a home fixture against the defending champions, Hyderabad FC next.

Previously the two sides have faced each other 6 times, of which Jamshedpur has won twice and four of the games have ended as a stalemate. In all of their face-offs, Hyderabad has never won a fixture against Jamshedpur. In their last meeting, the Men of Steel defeated 3-0.

In the 2021-22 season, both sides tasted the success of the highest order and had a dream run. While Jamshedpur FC won the League Winner’s Shield, Hyderabad FC went on to the finals of the Hero ISL and beat Kerala Blasters to lift the League Champions trophy. 

Currently, the two sides stand in contrasting positions on the league table as Hyderabad FC is in the first position. At the same time, Jamshedpur went down to the 9th position after their defeat in the previous game.

The Nizams are unbeaten at the moment with 4 wins in 5 games with 13 points in hand. On the other hand, Jamshedpur with 4 points out of 4 games has a win and a draw each along with 2 losses.

Now the Men of Steel, the defending League Winners will host the defending Champions of the league, Hyderabad FC for an intense Hero ISL battle.

While Hyderabad FC will aim to continue their unbeaten streak and maintain the top spot, the Men of Steel will do everything in their power to get back to their winning ways and make their way up the table.

Along with registering another win at the Furnace and giving the fans a home victory, the Jamshedpur side would also want to be one to hand over Hyderabad FC with their first defeat of the season and end their winning run.
