Jamshedpur Sporting Association (JSA) began its Referees Refresher Course today at the JRD Tata Sports Complex to prepare the match officials for the upcoming JSA League.
A total of 116 referees which included 71 new referees, 45 old and also 8 female referees are in attendance of the refreshers course
The course began today with a fitness test with the charge being led by Referee Instructors SB Singh (Chairman - Referees Committee, JSA), Navin J Sundi (AIFF Referees Instructor & Match Commissioner), SK Dey (Referees Fitness Instructor, JFA & Posting Secretary, JSA), Miller Routh (Referee Instructor, JFA) and SN Tudu (Referee Instructor, JFA).
The course has been organised with the guidance and efforts of Avinash Kumar (Secretary - JSA) and Rohit Kr Singh (Assistant Secretary - JSA) who have catered to every minute detail to ensure the smooth conduct of the programme. The Refresher course will resume tomorrow and conclude on 6th June with a seminar and workshop helped to guide referees as they return to professional football officiating after a long hiatus due to the Covid-19 pandemic.
