Loyola School continued their good performance at the Jamshedpur Golden Baby League with another victory in the U9s category against Hill Top School in Week 12 of the Jamshedpur Golden Baby League.
The victorious team in the U9s was Loyola Power Rangers who picked up the win against Ronaldo Hill Top School Jamshedpur.
The second edition of the Jamshedpur Golden Baby League 2023, hosted by Jamshedpur FC in conjunction with Jharkhand Football Association (JFA) and Jharkhand Sporting Association (JSA) has been divided into U5, U7, U9, U11 and U13 categories for the benefit of kids across the city.
The 10-month long tournament will be held every Sunday morning at the Archery ground at JRD Tata Sports Complex to nurture development and add to the existing grassroots schools program run by the club during the week after school hours.
A total of 188 students turned up for the Baby League on Sunday, with the numbers increasing as interest in the league grows with each passing week.
The highest number was witnessed in the U9s where 44 students were present, 40 students appeared in the U11s, 42 students in U7s, 36 in U13s and 26 students turned up for the U5s.
The U7s and U5s played four matches each, while U9s played three matches. Two matches each were played by the U11s and U13s.
