Jamshedpur, October 2: Jamshedpur FC have extended the contract of forward Manvir Singh for the 2025–26 season, rewarding the attacker after an impressive Durand Cup campaign and a memorable international outing with the Indian national team.
The 24-year-old forward was part of Jamshedpur FC’s Durand Cup squad, where his strong performances caught the eye and earned him a national team call-up for the CAFA Nations Cup 2025. Manvir featured in all three of India’s matches at the tournament, logging 144 minutes and helping the Blue Tigers secure a bronze medal.
“I am excited to continue my journey here. My focus is on working hard and contributing with goals and energy for the team this season,” said Manvir about extension.
“Manvir has shown tremendous progress over the past few months. His performances in the Durand Cup and with the national team show the quality and potential he brings to our squad. I’m confident he’ll be a key player for us this season,” said Steven Dias.
Having previously spent time on loan with Mohammedan Sporting before rejoining Jamshedpur for the Durand Cup, Manvir’s return has added depth to the Men of Steel’s attack. His ability to slot in across multiple forward roles makes him a valuable asset as Jamshedpur prepare for the upcoming Super Cup under Steven Dias.
Jamshedpur FC are currently training in Jamshedpur under the guidance of Steven Dias as they gear up for their Group B fixtures in Goa. The Men of Steel will open their campaign against FC Goa on October 26, followed by matches against North East United FC on October 29 and Inter Kashi on November 1.
