Jamshedpur FC Reserves host Trau FC in the 2nd Division I-League 2017-18 as Hilal Parray’s side will look to get their first points on the table in their first home match of the season.
The squad is coming on the back of a narrow 2-1 defeat in Kolkata vs Mohammedan Sporting where Vijay Kumar scored an 84th minute goal to halve the deficit. “It was great to score the first goal in my first match. We could have scored a second goal too, but it wasn’t to be,” Vijay exclaimed!
The captain, Baset Hansdah, is wary of the thereat that the opposition poses but believes that his team is ready, “We have received inputs about Trau FC and how they are a good attacking team. We will be cautious but at the same time we are confident of getting a good result.”
The match will be played at the JRD Tata Sports Complex (also known as The Furnace) at 5 PM on 20th March 2018. Entry for the Jamshedpur FC Reserves’ 2nd Division I-League 2017-18 home matches is free.
