In an electrifying Indian Super League encounter at the JRD Tata Sports Complex, Jamshedpur FC and Mumbai City FC shared the spoils with a 1-1 draw. This result places Jamshedpur FC in the 6th spot, the final play-off spot, amassing 21 points after 19 games with three more to play.

The match was a tightly contested affair with both sides creating numerous opportunities to clinch the win. However, it was Jamshedpur FC who broke the deadlock in the 60th minute through Javi Siverio, concluding a splendid piece of combination play involving Manzorro, Chima Chukwu, Sanan, Uvais, and Siverio himself, who executed a fine run and finish from 5 yards out. Mumbai City FC responded in the 74th minute, levelling the scoreline and setting the stage for a tense finale.

The first half saw both teams looking to open the scoring with Mumbai City coming closest on two occasions only to be saved by Rehenesh. The half ended with the scoreboard reading 0-0.

The second half was fraught with attempts from both sides to edge ahead. Several substitutions were made by both sides aimed at breaking the deadlock which eventually happened in the 60th minute.

As the match progressed, Daniel Chima Chukwu received a second yellow card, leading to his dismissal and leaving Jamshedpur a man down. This incident will see Chukwu miss the next critical match against Kerala Blasters.
