With the players scheduled to arrive early this week, Jamshedpur FC’s pre-season preparations will commence soon. The club’s midfield stalwart Mehtab Hossain is hoping to get the most out of the pre-season to help Jamshedpur witness a successful debut in the Indian Super League.
“It’s extremely important to have a good pre-season. We are going to play some tough teams to prepare ourselves for the upcoming season.
“We travel to Thailand for our pre-season on 11th October where we will be playing good teams from the Thai League.”
The midfielder also talked about the importance of the home crowd cheering for the club, “The home crowd helps the team pump up and perform. At Kerala Blasters last season, we didn’t have the best performances away. But with the support back home, we charged ahead in the league.”
Mehtab arrived at Jamshedpur late evening on 1st October and will be getting straight to business as the rest of team arrives.
