Jamshedpur, November 5: Jamshedpur FC forward Mohammed Sanan, who was earlier named in the India U-23 Men’s National Team for the friendly matches against Thailand, has now been called up to join the senior national team probables instead.

The All India Football Federation (AIFF) announced that Sanan, initially part of the U-23 squad scheduled to play in Thailand on November 15 and 18, 2025, will now link up with the senior team camp as part of the probables list for the upcoming international window.

The 20-year-old attacker has been in fine form for both club and country this season. He represented India in the AFC U-23 Qualifiers held in Doha, where he impressed with his composure and attacking flair as the team narrowly missed out on progression. Sanan also featured in international friendlies against Iraq and was previously called up to the senior team camp earlier this year.

He was also part of the senior national team camp for the crucial matches against Singapore in the AFC Asia Cup Qualifiers.

India are scheduled to play Bangladesh at the National Stadium in Dhaka, in their AFC Asian Cup 2027 Final Round Qualifiers match on November 18. The team will set camp in Bengaluru from Thursday, November 6, and are set to travel to Dhaka on November 15.
