Opponent Watch - Delhi Dynamos

With just three points in the bag, Delhi Dynamos are one of the sides in Indian Super League that have seriously underperformed so far. History is on Jamshedpur FC's side as well ahead of tonight's encounter with the Men of Steel completing a double over the Dynamos last season. It can be argued that this is the best time for Jamshedpur FC to face a struggling Delhi side, but it will be a huge mistake to take such a dangerous side lightly.

Some teams can hurt you when they are down and you have to keep your guard up all the time against such a team. The Dynamos are one such team that have not clicked as a unit yet but have all the tools in their artillery to hurt any opposition on their day. Their manager, Josep Gombau is an experienced man and has won trophies in Hong Kong and Australia.

He will be hungry to register his first win in the league and with nothing to lose, Delhi Dynamos can prove to be tricky for Jamshedpur FC to get past. The Dynamos' strength is their midfield. Marcos Tebar and Gianni Zuiverloon are experienced names and though they haven't performed to the levels expected from them so far, the duo is capable enough to dominate the proceedings. Jamshedpur FC's Mario-Memo partnership will need to up their game to keep the Dynamos' midfield pairing under wraps.

Kalu Uche's replacement, Andrija Kaluderovic has mightily underperformed so far and will be keen on getting on the scoresheet this time around. With Lallianzuala Chhangte guarding the left flank, Delhi's attack can prove to be a threat for the Men of Steel. Tiri and co. will need to continue the good work that was imminent against FC Goa and a clean sheet at the capital can go a long way in boosting the confidence of the Jamshedpur FC backline.

Delhi Dynamos' star performer so far has been their Spanish goalkeeper, Francisco Dorronsoro. Starting ahead of Albino Gomes, Dorronsoro has been sensational so far and if not for him, the Dynamos would not have been sitting with three points in the bag. Sergio Cidoncha and Michael Soosairaj will have to be at their optimum best to get past the rock-solid Delhi custodian.

All in all, despite Delhi Dynamos' poor run so far, the capital side are a strong side that can get over the line and register their first win of the season over Jamshedpur FC. Cesar Ferrando's men will have to replicate the same intensity that blew away FC Goa against the Dynamos to continue their unbeaten juggernaut.
