Our Final Defenders Squad for the Hero I-League Second Division 2019-20 season

The preparations are in full swing for the Hero I-League Second Division 2019-20 season.

The season kicks off on 25th January 2020 and our Reserve Team Defenders are gearing up to face some tough contenders like ATK Reserves, Punjab FC (reserves), Rajasthan FC, Garhwal FC and Lonestar Kashmir FC. 

Vijay Kumar

One of the youngest in the team, Vijay has improved upon his game over the years. Filled with grit and determination, he is a multi-faceted player with a never-say-die attitude. 

Baset Hansdah

His presence and positioning when in defensive duties and his tenacious approach has enabled him to be a competent leader of the reserve squad.

Karandeep

Never the one to shy away from attacking the opposition, with his determined nature and natural big built, he could thwart any potential threat that may arise. 

Naresh Singh Yendrembam

He carries the confidence of a seasoned professional. His tenacity, awareness of his responsibility offensively and defensively will give the team the edge they need to defend themselves. 

Rakesh Yadav

He has a natural instinct to protect his house. Combined with his awareness abilities, Rakesh will look to do everything to lessen the attacks on his team this season. 

Vikash Balmuchu

Hailing from Jharkhand, the 20 year old defender's idol is Cristiano Ronaldo and he has a natural liking for running which is why he loves his position as the defender. 

Jirjar Terang

A TFA product, Jirjar has the right kind of vigor to carry the team on his young shoulders. He is ready to kick-start his season on a high note.

Umesh Perambra

The 22 year old from Mumbai loves his position as he believes it’s the best position to play. Umesh’s inspiration to play football has always been his brother. With his dream of playing football professionally now a reality, Umesh will be looking to make his mark in this league. 

Sandip Mandi

A product of TFA, Sandip has been working hard under the guidance of Mr. Kundan Chandra. The young aspirant has made an appearance in the Durand Cup during his stint with the Reserves and will be looking to make his name in the league.

Nayan Tamang 

This TFA Cadet positioned left-back is ready to show his defending skills at the I-League and will look to strengthen his team’s position with his footballing skills.

Sanjay Balmuchu

This ex-TFA cadet will look to make a solid impression in the league with his position as the center back. His grit and passion for football has always been his source of inspiration and he will look to play the field with this approach.
