Jamshedpur August 21: Jamshedpur FC players Praful Kumar and Calvin Baretto paid a special visit to the JRD Tata Sports Complex turf, spending an engaging evening with youngsters from the club’s Grassroots Centre. The session turned into a memorable occasion for the budding footballers, who got the rare opportunity to train and play alongside the players.

The duo interacted with the children, shared valuable tips, and joined them in drills and fun activities. One of the highlights of the day was when Praful and Calvin played in the traditional rondos with the kids, before taking on a unique 2 vs 30 match against the group. Laughter and cheers filled the ground as players across various age groups challenged the professionals, making it a lively and spirited encounter.

The initiative, part of Jamshedpur FC’s commitment to nurturing football at the grassroots level, left the children motivated and inspired. Many of them expressed joy at the chance to not just watch, but actually play alongside professional footballers on their own training turf.

“It was a wonderful feeling to be out here with these kids. Their energy and enthusiasm remind us why we play this game, and I hope today’s session motivates them to keep working hard and enjoying football," said Praful Kumar after the session with the kids.
