Preview: Jamshedpur FC vs NorthEast United FC – Coppell’s men ready to snatch three points

Jamshedpur FC are all set to host NorthEast United FC at home for the very first time in the Indian Super League (ISL) 2017-18, and this has all the makings of a fantastic game. On a run great form, collecting four wins in their last five games, Jamshedpur FC will hope to collect one more amongst their fans after a long absence from home.

The Highlanders, on the other hand, experienced a shaky start to the season but are in period of resurgence after the appointment of Avram Grant as Head Coach. NorthEast United FC have reorganized into a side that tries to dominate their opponent, and though their result in the previous match against FC Pune City was not positive, they looked assured and dangerous on the pitch.

Steve Coppell insists this game will be no different from any other, “Three points are vital. It would be great to win, but if we didn’t, it would not bring an end to our ambitions this season.”

Avram Grant, Head Coach of NorthEast United FC, said that his team will bring the game to Jamshedpur FC.

"We want to make our own strategies it doesn't depend on other teams. Like any game we want to play good attacking football and work on the opponent's weaknesses," said the gaffer of The Highlanders as he detailed his plan to take down Jamshedpur FC.

Jamshedpur FC’s fantastic run has relieved Coach Coppell in terms of selecting his team, the gaffer insists that he believes in the players that brought him those results. When asked about his thoughts on rotation for the next game, the gaffer replied, “I have faith in the team that’s been playing. As one of my old coaches used to say, if it ain’t broke don’t fix it!”

Steve Coppell confirmed his team is currently at 100% fitness, which allows him the freedom to experiment come tomorrow.
