Sanan Ready to Shine as Jamshedpur FC as Super Cup Dates get Closer

Jamshedpur, October 21: As Jamshedpur FC prepare to depart for Goa on October 23 for the Super Cup, young winger Mohammed Sanan is full of energy and optimism after returning from his stint with the Indian national team in Bengaluru. The 21-year-old attacker has rejoined the Men of Steel ahead of what promises to be a competitive campaign under Head Coach Steven Dias.

Reflecting on his time with the India setup, Sanan said, “It was a great experience training with the national team. The intensity, the level of competition, and the exposure I got there have helped me grow a lot as a player. Every session taught me something new, both technically and mentally. It’s an experience I’ll carry forward into this season with Jamshedpur.”

Back in his home city and among familiar faces, Sanan expressed his delight at reuniting with his teammates. “It always feels special to be back in Jamshedpur. This club is like family to me. We’ve been training hard, and the atmosphere in the camp is really positive. Everyone is focused on starting the Super Cup strongly,” he said.

Sanan, who has steadily progressed through the JFC system, spoke about his evolving role under Coach Steven Dias. “The coach has been very clear with his ideas. I have learned a lot under him already, his focus on team discipline and attacking movement really suits my style,” he shared.

With new attacking signings like French playmaker Madih Talal and Cameroonian striker Messi Bouli joining the squad, Sanan is eager to build chemistry with his new teammates. “It’s exciting to have players like Talal and Bouli around. They bring quality and experience, and I’m looking forward to learning from them. Playing alongside such players will only make me better,” he said with a smile.

As the team packs up for Goa, Sanan is keeping his goals grounded yet ambitious. “Personally, I just want to help the team in any way I can, whether it’s scoring, assisting, or pressing high. The focus is on teamwork. We want to put in good performances in the Super Cup and make our fans proud,” he concluded.

Jamshedpur FC will open their Super Cup campaign against FC Goa on October 26, followed by matches against NorthEast United FC on October 29 and Inter Kashi on November 1. With the final day of training in Jamshedpur behind them, the Men of Steel are ready to take their preparations and spirit to Goa.
