Six Players from Tata Football Academy are shortlisted for the selection trials to represent U-19 Indian Arro

Tata Football Academy (TFA) participated in two friendly matches against the U-19 Indian Arrows team on the 12th and 13th of March. By displaying the passion towards the game, boys from the Tata Football Academy proved their talent and worth. And their performance caught the eyes of Mr. Floyd Pinto, Head Coach, Indian Arrows and Mr. Mahesh Gowli, Assistant Coach.

It has been later decided and announced that six of the players from Tata Football Academy (TFA) were short listed for the selection trials, which is to be held at Bhubaneshwar from 22nd to 27th of March. The selected players will also be taking part in the upcoming U-19 AFC Cup 2019.

Following are the list of the players short listed for the selection trials:

  1. Gaurab - Midfielder
  2. Ravi Bahadur Rana- Midfielder
  3. Khangembam Samarjit Singh - Midfielder
  4. Lalramdinsanga Ralte - Midfielder
  5. Manas Protim Gogoi - Defender
  6. Sandip Mandi – Defender


Out of the six colts, Ravi Bahadur Rana had already delivered a successful stint while representing the U-16 Indian Arrows team for the AFC Cup 2017/18.

Mukul Chaudhari, Chief Sports Excellence Centers said, "Congratulations to all the boys who have been selected for the U19 team! It reflects the work that goes at the Tata Football Academy and our commitment towards contributing to the National team. We wish the boys and team the best for their endeavours at the U19 Asia Cup."
