A pandemic has gripped the world in the form Covid 19 or the Coronavirus. While the health officials and the governments from all over the world are doing everything in their power to fight this, your contribution can make a massive impact too by making yourself aware of the following things:

Prevention is the best way to fight this disease right now. Here are the do’s and don’ts that you must follow.

Do’s

  • Wash your hands regularly for 20 seconds, with soap and water or alcohol-based hand rub
  • Wear a mask at all times when you go outside
  • Cover your nose and mouth with a disposable tissue or flexed elbow when you cough or sneeze
  • Avoid close contact of 3 to 6 feet, especially with people who are unwell
  • Stay home and self-isolate from others in the household if you feel unwell

Don'ts

  • Avoid touching your eyes, nose, or mouth if your hands are not clean
  • Listen and follow health experts only and avoid rumours

Apart from taking care of yourself and protecting your loved ones, it is also important to stay kind during this period of global calamity. Stay vigilant, help the needy and helpless like daily wage earners and stray animals, while taking all the necessary precautions mentioned above.
