Jamshedpur, February 10: As Jamshedpur FC prepare to kick off their Indian Super League campaign, Jamshedpur FC’s Nigerian defender Stephen Eze has sent out a passionate call to the fans, urging them to book their tickets and turn the JRD Tata Sports Complex into a sea of red for the season’s opening fixture.

With tickets now available on the app District by Zomato as Jamshedpur FC are set to open their home campaign against Mohammedan SC on February 15 at the JRD Tata Sports Complex.

Speaking about the first home match, Eze underlined the importance of fan support and the unique energy that the Furnace brings to the team on matchdays. The Nigerian defender stressed that the squad has put in intense work during pre-season and is brimming with confidence heading into the new campaign.

“We’ve had a very good preparation phase. The boys have worked extremely hard on and off the pitch, and there’s a real belief within the group going into these matches,” Eze said. “We are confident, focused and ready to give everything for the badge.”

The towering centre-back highlighted how the atmosphere at the JRD Tata Sports Complex has often played a decisive role in pushing the team forward, especially during high-pressure moments.

“The fans here are special. When the stadium is full and the noise is constant, it gives us extra energy. It feels like we are playing with an extra man,” he added. “We want the supporters to come out in big numbers, fill the stadium and be our 12th man from the first whistle.”

Eze promised that the team will respond to that backing with commitment and attacking football, assuring supporters of an electric atmosphere on matchday.

“We promise to give everything on the pitch. We’ll fight for every ball, every tackle and every goal. Together, with the fans behind us, we can make the Furnace a place no opponent enjoys coming to,” he said.
