Steven Dias Confident of Jamshedpur FC's Preparedness Ahead of Mohun Bagan Clash

Jamshedpur, November 20: Jamshedpur FC's assistant coach Steven Dias, stepping in as interim head coach for the upcoming clash against Mohun Bagan Super Giant due to Khalid Jamil’s suspension, expressed confidence in the team’s preparations. With renewed energy following a short break, Dias believes his side is ready to bounce back after recent challenges.

“We are well prepared for this match. Mohun Bagan has some excellent individual players, but we’ve worked extensively on both our defending and attacking strategies. All the players know their roles and responsibilities. Having already played seven matches this season, they are well aware of what’s expected of them. My job is to guide them and ensure they execute the plan effectively,” he said about preparation.

Dias highlighted the return of key defender Stephen Eze from suspension as a boost to the team. “Eze is a hardworking player and has already proven his abilities. His return will bring additional strength to our defensive line, which will be crucial against a team like Mohun Bagan,” he added.

“They have individually talented players and are very strong as a unit. We’ve studied how they play and have prepared accordingly. This is an important match, and after the short break, the mood in the camp is positive. The players are ready to perform and show their resilience,” he said.

Dias urged the fans to support the team. “Support us the way you always have. Every team experiences ups and downs, and we need you to stay with us during tough times. Your presence and encouragement mean a lot to the players,”
Jamshedpur FC will face Mohun Bagan Super Giant on November 23, and all eyes will be on Dias as he leads the team in this crucial encounter.
