Jamshedpur FC made history by hosting the first-ever Jamshedpur FC Veteran Football Tournament on May 5th, 2024, Sunday, at 7:00 PM, in celebration of AFC Grassroot Football Day. The tournament, aimed at players over 40 years old, witnessed an exhilarating display of skill and camaraderie as 16 teams, totaling 160 participants, competed for glory.

In a thrilling finale, Tata Motors emerged triumphant, securing the championship title with a commanding 4-1 victory against Tata Steel Foundation, who commendably claimed the runner-up position. The tournament format featured intense 6-side games, with each half lasting 10 minutes, including a brief 5-minute interval, ensuring fast-paced action and exhilarating competition throughout.

Participants from the local community, Tata Steel, and retired players who have represented Jharkhand or India in previous competitions showcased their skills and passion for the beautiful game, adding to the vibrant atmosphere of the event.
