Tata Steel hammered Pandit Ragunath Murmu Club 8-0 in the JSA League Premier Division match at JRD Tata Sports Complex thanks to a brace each for four different players.

Sunil Lohar (24’ & 39’), Sandeep Mahali (45’ & 46’), Durga Prasad Naik (61’ & 90’) and Kunjun Tudu (70’ & 75’) all scored two goals each to propel Tata Steel to a resounding victory.

PRMC mounted little resistance in the game and Tata Steel proved why they are one of the major contenders for the JSA League title this season.

In the A Division (Group A), Katin FC beat Chotangpur FC 3-1 at Tinplate Sports Complex, while Armoury Ground played host to a comfortable 4-0 victory for Adivasi Development and Welfare Association against United Football Academy in the A Division (Group B).

At the Sumant Moolgaokar Stadium in Telco, Gram Vikas Kendra put five goals past a hapless Thakkar Bapa Club in a 5-0 win in the first Super Division match, while the other Super Division game saw Sporting Club Jamshedpur smash Dobo Sangram Sangha 7-0 in a lopsided encounter at Gopal Maidan on what was a day of goals in the JSA League.
