Jamshedpur's star defender, PC Laldinpuia spoke to the club's media team ahead of the big game against the Highlanders at the Furnace. Here are the excerpts from his pre-match interview:

On the dressing room environment...

It's a good environment. We all are pumped up after a decent run in the Super Cup. We are disappointed we didn't win of course. But, with the new head coach, along with having won all our group games and a very spirited semi-final performance, we are raring to give our best shot in the remaining ISL games.

On the approach for the NorthEast United game...

We're playing at home and we will give our all to get the 3 points. In the game we played away earlier in the season, we were so close to beating them and we played a good game vs them in the Super Cup as well. We know our capabilities and also are aware of how strong a team NorthEast United is. It will be a good game for sure.

On being one of the most consistent defenders in ISL...

The coach trusts me and believes in me. For me that's the most important thing and as a player, it's helped me a lot. As a team as well, we have each other's backs and keep helping and motivating in training as well as off the field. You will see that in the games as well - we celebrate in the happy moments and help each other pick ourselves up when things aren't going our way.
