“They are a very tricky opposition, “ says Mobashir Rahman ahead of #JFCSCEB

Mobashir made his first start of the season vs NorthEast United FC after a long injury recovery, and had a memorable kickoff to his season. Apart from helping the team bag a crucial win, Jamshedpur FC’s local lad also made his 50th appearance for the club.

In the pre-match interview, Mobashir talks about making 50 appearances for Jamshedpur FC, his return to the pitch and more:

Here are the excerpts from the interview:

Thoughts on completing 50 appearances for Jamshedpur FC

For me, representing Jamshedpur has always been a matter of pride and honour. Completing a milestone of appearances like 50 simply adds a cherry to that cake. That being said, I don't wish to stop at 50 and I want to keep improving in every game while helping the team be on the top of the league.

Thoughts on being back on the pitch after recovering from injury

For any player, being back on the pitch and playing matches is a moment of big relief. I am glad to be able to return to the pitch and win in my first start of the season. Now I simply look forward to adding more points to the table with the team.

Your take on facing SC East Bengal in the upcoming fixture

SC East Bengal is a very tricky opposition; their position in the table does not show the real picture. They have some really good players and I know some of them personally like Amarjit, Joyner, and Jackichand. I know how tough it is to play against them. They also seem inspired on the pitch now with the legendary Indian player, Renedy Singh, on the sidelines, so I am sure it will be a tough fight.
