“We want to play the best match we can and try to win,” opines Coach Iriondo

Jamshedpur FC will be entering their penultimate away game of the season against Hyderabad FC, on high spirits after their last match against Northeast United FC which concluded in a dramatic draw of 3-3.

In the pre-match press conference, Antonio Iriondo recalls their last fixture against the Highlanders, and what lies ahead of #HFCJFC.

Thoughts on learnings from the match against Northeast United FC

It was a crazy match. This kind of situation doesn’t usually happen when you have experience in the field. So many goals were scored late. Experienced players know how to control the situation. The thing is, we have a lot of young players in our team. We have to learn from the game. But these things can happen. For us, it was a very good game. We learned a lot from the situation.

On tomorrow night's game against Hyderabad FC

We want to win. Both teams are struggling for victories. We are not getting to the top four but we want to play the best match we can and try to win.

Goalkeeper Rafique Ali who played his first game for us this season at #NEUJFC, was at the press conference who talked about his experience and the team spirit currently, “We will all try to fight together. We will not give up and fight until the last minute. In the last match, we conceded a goal early. After that, we equalized before half time. After that, we had a positive attitude and fought. The fighting spirit is there in the dressing room. We won’t get the home advantage in the Hyderabad match, of course. But, we are together and believe in each other. We help and support each other. We play with unity. I played in the last match. I tried to give 100% and all my teammates supported me. I wouldn’t have done well without my teammates’ support.”
