Jamshedpur, September 25: Sourav Das has credited the fans as the driving force behind Jamshedpur FC’s recent performances and urged them to continue supporting the Men of Steel with full strength in their upcoming match against Odisha FC on September 28 at Kalinga Stadium.

“I just want to ask the fans to keep supporting us because the more they do, the better we play. Even when things aren’t going perfectly, be patient, we won’t let you down,” he stated.

“The last match, we played well because of the fans. They created an incredible atmosphere, and they’re truly our 12th man on the pitch,” he added.

For Sourav, the fans’ energy is especially crucial during difficult moments in a game. “Their energy lifts us, especially in tough times. They’re very energetic and passionate. I want to thank them for their unwavering support and ask them to continue as we head into crucial matches,” said Sourav.

On the pitch, Das praised his teammates for their unity, attributing the team’s comeback performances to the strong bond within the squad. “No matter what happens on the pitch, we never blame each other; we always stick together. The coaches, staff, and players are all working hard every day. That’s why we’ve been able to come back after conceding early goals.”

He also highlighted the ever-improving midfield line, giving credit to key players like Javi Hernandez, Jordan Murray, Rei, Sanan, and Imran Khan. “Every day, we’re improving. Javi, Jordan, Rei, Imran, and Sanan are all doing great, and even the guys coming off the bench are contributing to the game plan. Everyone’s playing their part, and it shows on the pitch,” Sourav added.

Jamshedpur FC will face Odisha FC in their next Indian Super League match at Kalinga Stadium on September 28.
